of new discoveries and finding joy in the now

Last Saturday, sept. 25, i met with my perps 93 batchmates in our final meeting before our first fundraiser, Laugh for a Cause on the 30th. As I looked around the table at Max's, I can't help but feel giddy towards our forthcoming event and also happy with the ensuing camaraderie with my batchmates. I have no classmate in sight and yet I felt that I also truly belong with this group. Maybe because we share in the same excitement, the same love for doing what is good and right and for really being our true selves. It was such a gift to be in that moment....of realizing that these are amazing people with me and I'm just in awe of the vibe around the group.
